The Story of Sofia and Theo
Welcome to Sofia and Theo—a cozy, modern sustainable children’s apparel designed for the beautiful chaos of childhood.

Our story began with a simple vision under our original name, Beauwa Baby (pronounced Beau-wah). a name inspired by our children and our passion for creating beautiful essentials for little ones.

As a parent of two young children, I deeply understood the daily rhythm of managing a household while searching for high-quality, effortless clothing for a toddler and an infant.

I wanted pieces that didn't just look beautiful, but felt incredibly gentle against delicate skin and could withstand the messy, active nature of growing up.
Fueled by a passion for clean aesthetics and organic comfort, I set out to curate collections made from the finest, most breathable materials. We chose to specialize in ultra-soft muslin cotton, sourcing our fabrics from trusted, high-quality textile artisans in Turkey and Australia. 

In June 2026, we took a meaningful step forward in our journey. To fully embrace our growth and better reflect the heart behind our brand, we officially rebranded from Beauwa Baby to Sofia and Theo.
Sofia and Theo embodies a cozy modern and minimalist aesthetic. We believe in neutral tones, clean lines, organic textures that let a child’s natural personality shine. Every piece in our storefront is thoughtfully designed to offer a relaxed, comfortable fit that leaves plenty of room for active toddlers to explore and tiny infants to rest peacefully.
